Art and St. Ives

We had a super dooper time in St. Ives. Lots of happy memories of holidaying there as a child, running along the amazing dunes mat the Towans. Just perfect for a family holiday. Kids loved the beach and a whole day or 4 happily passed there with the Holt family also in residence. When we did get away from sand and beachcombing and kite flying, we visited St.Ives and the Eden Project and the newish Heartlands Mining Museum. St. Ives was good in that we were inspired by lots of art galleries. We got the kids water colours and they collected lovely flat pebbles to paint in acrylics when we got home (above). Unfortunately the rain poured down on us so no Barbara Hepworth Garden, boo and when we attempted to shelter at the Tate St.Ives, it had just shut due to a fire. Grrrrr...

The Eden Project met the high expectations of Stokie Bloke and i got lots of ideas for Mediterranean garden designs for an upcoming job.

Beautiful beach at Hayle/Towans. Godrevy was also a fab beach and very clean.

Happy holidays!
